Stock Photography Portfolio

I have told a lot of people about my new passion for stock photography. This small collection of pictures is why I haven’t been active to the outside world (with photos) too much in the last period. All my work has gone into these photos (+ quite a lot of rejected ones – unfortunately, my acceptance ratio is 36% right now on Dreamstime).

So, please enjoy them! and if you like them, clicky clicky and buy them! You can make great posters because most of them are at 15MP. Gonna share the money with you via beers :-)

Claudia.

This is in theory a very looong story. Someone gave me a few day visit a while ago. It happened that she was crazy about photography and furthermore, pretty much a true narcisist (not without reasons though).

To keep the text short and commence with the images, I am warning you that I haven’t done portrait photography in a loooong while (I like to multiply o’s whenever I have the chance). Hoping that I did a reasonable job, enjoy! :)

New Rose

Kind of a weird title, isn’t it? I have the style of setting milestones and goals for all the sections of my life, be them academic, professional, social, physical etc. I find that the next picture, although simple in its concept, represents a milestone I did not actually set beforehand, but makes me happy I actually reached it. I shall explain why…

After a distressed ( pronounced with a strong Russian accent, as a good friend of mine does) period, I felt I lost the power of feelings (both having them and especially propagating them). A lot of people spotted that in me, in my photographs.

Under a suspect set of circumstances, I was able to take this picture with certain emotions, edit it keeping the same emotions in my mind, and make it public to transpose its message to the people around me, counting a small plus in their well-being for that certain day.

Here it comes …

Boats at Night

Hey there,

I am going to make a habit out of posting pictures that were refused on the stock photography company I am working with. Usually, the reasons for not being accepted are weird colors and too dark photos – I guess I have this problem due to the emo-style of photography I used to do in the past :)

Now, enjoy these 2 guys – images taken at night at the river near my university.

HDRs

These are a number of HDR images I have been working on lately.

Enjoy!

Eid @Jacobs University

Yesterday I went to my first ever Eid celebration, organized by the Muslim community at Jacobs University. Very entertaining, informative and photo-worthy :)

Great work guys!

Flower

When I usually took pictures of flowers, I used to dedicate them to someone special and not post them in many places on the Internet. This time, this one will be made public because I really like how it turned out.

And the first photography post

I promised I would actually start using the blog properly now that I am paying money to keep it online. Considering that nothing fancy happened in the meantime to be worth noting publicly in words, I shall use the means of images to convey my current state of mind to the outside.

The following 2 pictures are taken near Castle Chillon in Montreaux, Switzerland. I think it is the 4th time I visit that place and I can surely tell you – IT’S GREAT! Cannot get tired of it!

Warning: the pictures are heavily surrealistic HDRs.

First blog post on my new website!

Hey, I have my very new domain and my very new website :D
