3D Face Tracking
Project I worked on during the 2010 summer, during my internship at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne – Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory .
The project was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mark Pauly and I worked closely with Dr. Thibaut Weise and Hao Li.
The problem I had to solve was to investigate methods of obtaining a system capable of real-time 3D tracking of a human face, using the input of a single low quality monocular camera. The tracking also includes deformations of the face, aided by the blendshapes technique.
